QPR boss hints at imminent arrivals – hopes for two or three signings in coming days

Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton has said that he is looking to bring two or three more players in at The Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium over the course of the next coming days.

With the new season coming closer and closer, Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Warburton is keen to get a few more players through the door before the season gets underway on August 3rd.

The R’s have already brought in the likes of goalkeeper Liam Kelly, defenders Yoann Barbet, Dominic Ball and Ross Wallace and loan midfielders Matt Smith and Luke Amos. But, Warburton will need to bring in a new striker, with Paul Smyth the only player who could be currently considering as a striker.

And, speaking to the club’s website (quotes via the Brent and Kilburn Times), Warburton has revealed that he hopes two or three new players will be joining the club soon as they continue to work on reinforcing certain positions.

“Right now we’re looking avidly at certain positions, we will have, I think, another two or three in the coming days coming in and strikers on top.

“It’s not about going out and getting any striker, we’re trying to get the right strikers which will have the quality for the squad and score the goals that we obviously need in the division.

“There is a lot of work being done behind the scenes, rest assured QPR fans we are well aware of what we need right now.

“Please don’t think for one second that we’re not actively out there.”
